Our History

It all began 14 years ago. God called a small music ministry named Cryy Out Ministries, sold out to Jesus and evangelism, to walk a path through faith and great courage. Cryy Out Ministries began in 1988. The members included young adults ranging from 18 to 25 years old, and never more than 20 members at a time. Led by Arnold Perez, this was the beginning of training for the future pastor of CCF. Cryy Out Ministries was the main support of the band “The Cryy”. Taking bookings at churches, fairs, correctional facilities, anywhere the Gospel could be shared and lives touched.

1990 was a busy year for “The Cryy” with at least three bookings a month, regular Wednesday night Bible studies and Saturday morning prayer. God was doing something awesome in the ministry. With Wednesday night studies growing too big to hold in homes anymore the opportunity arose to use a room at South Valley Christian Church. Soon this began to grow and leadership at South Valley saw a vision to form a church that would reach a multi cultural community, and “The Cryy” filled that vision.

Through a lot of prayer, confirmation, and a step of faith, Cryy Out Christian Fellowship was born and celebrated its first service on September 13, 1992, staffed only with Pastor Arnold Perez.
